Senior Backend Engineer, Observability

• You’re an engineer who thrives on diving into the unknown, collaborating with others, and tackling challenging, complex problems with a can-do attitude. You have a passion for delivering seamless and delightful experiences to users, no matter how intricate the technical hurdles may be.
• As one of the first dedicated engineers in the platform area for Postman Insights, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the foundation of this team. Your work will not only directly impact the success of our platform but also set the stage for expanding the team and scaling our capabilities in this space.
• Previous Experience
• 7+ years of experience shipping production-grade software.
• Experience scaling large-scale software systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, with at least two significant projects where you were either the primary contributor delivering substantial portions of the work and/or led a team of engineers to successfully execute the project.
• Strong communication skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional stakeholders and unblocking challenges to meet business objectives.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Experience working on an early-stage product.
• Experience working with time-series data.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $210,000 to 240,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate s skills, qualifications, and experience.
