Responsibilities
This internship is built for students who enjoy practical engineering and visual problem-solving. You will learn from experienced engineers while building skills across digital twins, 3D data and technical documentation.

The Digital Twin Engineering team connects physical infrastructure with virtual tools. Work happens through clear modeling tasks, engineering data, structured reviews and feedback from experienced engineers.

Required
Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, integrated engineering or a related field.
Interest in applying engineering principles to digital representations of physical spaces, equipment and infrastructure.
Experience with, or interest in learning, 3D modeling, visualization, simulation or digital twin technologies.
Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams or technical documentation.
Careful attention to accuracy, detail, file organization and clear documentation.
Clear communication skills and the ability to learn new software with guidance.

Preferred
Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse or another digital twin platform.
Familiarity with OpenUSD or other scene-description and 3D data formats.
Experience with CAD or 3D modeling tools through coursework, university projects, personal projects, research, or a previous internship.
Basic understanding of data centers, laboratories, building systems, facilities infrastructure, or related engineering environments.
Exposure to scripting or programming, particularly Python.
Experience with engineering models, simulation tools, automation, or visualization software.
