Appsflyer The Senior Legal Counsel leads commercial contract negotiations and privacy matters, partnering with multiple departments to provide legal advice on commercial, regulatory, and privacy issues. This role operates as the sole Senior Legal Counsel in the US and collaborates globally.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate and close commercial and technology-related contracts, including master services agreements, SaaS subscription agreements, license agreements, data protection agreements, reseller and referral agreements, RFP responses and supporting documentation with customers, partners and vendors.
Coordinate commercial and contractual issues with other groups and departments across the company (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Security, IT, R&D) in furtherance of corporate policy.
Develop a strong understanding of AppsFlyer’s technology and provide timely, practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations on commercial, regulatory and privacy issues.
Monitor and advise on applicable laws relating to commercial transactions, including data privacy and other regulatory compliance matters.
Develop and maintain company contract templates, business processes and internal policies and guidelines to help scale the business.
Contribute to other legal projects as needed from time to time.
Qualified Lawyer with at least 5 years of commercial and technology law experience, gained at a major law firm and/or in an in-house legal department.
Experience handling complex, technology-related commercial legal matters, including independently reviewing, drafting, negotiating and closing agreements with minimal support.
Knowledge and experience in data privacy laws and related regulations.
Experience in SaaS or big data businesses.
Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to independently negotiate agreements and lead calls with other legal teams.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and support multiple matters simultaneously for different stakeholders.

Required

Qualified Lawyer with at least 5 years of commercial and technology law experience

Ability to work independently from a US location

Preferred

CIPP certification.
Experience in adtech and/or martech.

For our US-based candidates, the expected ‘On Target Earnings’ (OTE) are between $220,000 and $250,000 (including bonus). The offer varies on many factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, interview results, references, etc.
This role operates on a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in either our San Francisco or New York office.
