Senior Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure

Required

• 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience building developer tools and infrastructure.
• A track record of building or significantly improving developer tooling or infrastructure used by engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience improving CI/CD systems, including diagnosing performance or reliability problems.
• Experience leading complex technical projects through design, implementation, and rollout.
• Experience using Docker and container orchestration in production.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience working across engineering teams to build agreement on tools, standards, or workflow changes.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical tradeoffs and documenting how systems work.

• The base salary range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $190,000 to $400,000 USD. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
