Responsibilities
Design, build, and take end-to-end ownership of complex frontend features - from initial scoping and technical design through deployment, monitoring, and follow-up
Write maintainable, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews, holding yourself and the team to a high standard of quality and reliability
Lead technical design discussions for your team's domain, analyze tradeoffs, and document decisions clearly so the whole team can build on them
Identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and reliability risks proactively - not just when they become urgent
Mentor and support less-experienced engineers through code review feedback, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to clarify requirements, surface risks early, and ensure features are built to meet real user and business needs
Participate actively in agile ceremonies - sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos - contributing to a predictable and healthy team delivery rhythm
Contribute to improving team processes, tooling, and engineering standards, and advocate for technical improvements with clear reasoning and evidence
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve your own productivity and code quality, and stay current with emerging frontend technologies and approaches
