Eqtcorporation The Associate Strategic Execution evaluates and executes M&A, asset & divestiture, and energy transition opportunities through financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and investment thesis development. This role supports transaction execution and presents recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for M&A, A&D, energy transition, and other strategic investment opportunities.
Independently identify and structure analytical frameworks that frame risk, reward, and strategic fit.
Support transaction execution by coordinating financial, technical, commercial, and legal due diligence efforts across internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present investment screening materials and recommendations to senior leadership.
Develop and defend investment theses through data-driven analysis and clear, concise communication.
Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to inform opportunity evaluation and strategic decision-making.
Contribute to the development of investment cases, negotiation support materials, and post-closing performance tracking.
4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or technical energy experience.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in FinanceAdvanced proficiency in ExcelExperience using financial databasesDemonstrated knowledge of commercial

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex analyses clearly.
Strong project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the Energy industry landscape and market dynamics.
Experience using financial databases. (e.g., Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg)
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial, capital markets and corporate finance principles.
Experience preparing and presenting materials to senior executives.
