Sunrise Solutions Architect at Sunrise designs and integrates automated robotic cells into manufacturing production lines. Owns technical concepts and refines application designs based on customer processes and feedback.
Responsibilities
You design how the Sunrise robotic cell fits into a customer's production line. You take a manual process and turn it into a safe, efficient, fully automated robotic cell: you map the process, model the cell in simulation, lay out the floor, prove the cycle time, and define the safety concept.
You sit in Product, on the Solutions team, at the border between a customer's technical strategy and our own product. You own the technical concept behind each proposal, and what you learn from customers feeds directly into where the product goes next.
Winning the deal is the start, not the finish. The fast concept that wins a proposal then has to be refined into a full application design before anything gets built. That design work is the core of the role, and it is where most of your effort goes.
Analyze a customer's existing manufacturing process and propose and design a safe, efficient, fully automated solution.
Model the robotic cell in simulation to validate reachability, find bottlenecks, and prove feasibility.
Design the placement, footprint, and material flow of the cell from customer data.
Calculate cycle times, Takt time, and the throughput we can guarantee from real production data.
Own the technical concept behind each proposal, then refine the winning concept into a complete application design.
Present the concept, layout, and throughput case to the customer, and fold their feedback into the design.
Act as the technical voice of Sunrise in customer calls.
Hand finalized process maps, simulations, and layouts to our internal Deployment team.
Gather raw data, floor plans, and production requirements directly from customer engineering teams.
