Woolpert Senior CAD Technician at Woolpert supporting Survey & Geomatics team by processing field data and preparing maps and survey deliverables. Responsible for data analysis, validation, and client interaction.
Responsibilities
Process daily field data in Trimble Business Center, including but not limited to GPS Static files, RTK Conventional files, and Conventional Total Station files.
Convert data between standard spatial data formats including but not limited to AutoCAD, Esri geodatabase feature classes, and ESRI shapefiles.
Prepares highway right-of-way map deliverables.
Prepares ALTA boundary survey plat deliverables.
Prepares topographical surfaces from field data and corresponding map deliverables.
Prepares subdivision plats as needed, including replats.
Research and interpret government files, utilities, and public record documentation.
Produce accurate and legible maps, survey reports and legal descriptions, or displays for various departments.
Verify map feature and attribute accuracies.
Identify and recommend process improvements and enhancements on existing projects.

Experience using MicroStation with GeoPak and/or OpenRoads
GIS related experience is a plus
Licensed Surveyor in Training (L.S.I.T) Certificate is a plus
