Crestoperations The Sr. Accountant at Optimal Field Services manages month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role supports budgeting, tax compliance, and financial analysis for the business unit.

Responsibilities

Complete month-end closing within 5 business days and provide accurate financial statements
Establish internal controls for accuracy and efficiency
Oversee Cap-ex depreciation and amortization
Provide accurate annual and quarterly budgets and 5-year projections
Create and analyze financial reports and metrics for meetings
Set up new vendors in accounting system
Prepare and manage reports related to diverse spending
Submit sales and use tax payments
Issue sales tax exemption certificates
Perform LA and TX Property Tax Assessment
Perform accruals for fixed-fee projects
Manage company asset list

Qualification

Experience with ERP systems is requiredExperience with Sales

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
Five plus years of progressive accounting experience is required.
Experience with ERP systems is required.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel are required.
Must have excellent written and communication skills at all levels of the company.
Experience with Sales, Use and Property tax is required.
