Lead efforts to raise new capital for Aquatic, bringing in commitments from prospective investors, with a particular focus on international investors.

Identify and develop prospective investors through existing and new networks of contacts.

Meet and build relationships with existing investors, understand their needs and history with Aquatic, and identify which investors may increase their allocations.

Lead all aspects of investor communications, presentations, and meetings, including marketing materials, monthly distributions, the annual update letter, and ad hoc investor queries.

Develop and refine the firm's marketing strategy, including a detailed marketing plan that extends fundraising efforts beyond short-term needs and is consistent with the firm's future direction.

Represent the firm at industry events and travel to meet investors across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Staff investor meetings thoughtfully, with an appreciation of relationship history and sensitivity to each investor's needs.

Provide feedback on investor requirements and market appetite to help guide business development, firm strategy, and investment sector selection.

Technical Experience

Bachelor's degree required.

6+ years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales at a hedge fund, asset manager, or similar firm.

Demonstrated track record of raising capital from institutional investors such as pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and funds of funds.
