Trueanomalyinc The Software Engineer I, QA executes manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality and collaborates with developers in an agile environment. This is a temporary role with potential for conversion based on performance.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automated test cases against a full stack software
Document and report software defects within the software lifecycle in Jira
Participate in an agile team sprint planning/stand ups
Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues
Assist in maintaining a growing test repository of manual and automated scripts within Playwright framework
Continuous contribution to QA standards and testing processes

Qualification

Familiarity with Jira ticketing and GitStrong communication skillsExperience with API toolingTeam player with a proactiveFlexible mindset

Required

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education
0-2 years experience in software qa/testing (internships included)
General understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and Agile processes
Basic understanding of coding languages (preferred java script)
Familiarity with Jira ticketing and Git
Strong attention to detail and problem solving
Strong communication skills
U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred

Exposure to automation tooling (playwright/cypress/selenium)
Experience with API tooling
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (github actions/ jenkins, etc.)
Motivated to learn and grow within QA industry
Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast paced environment
