Embedding VC Senior Product Manager at LiveX AI owning end-to-end customer experience across hardware and software AI products. Set quality standards, prioritize fixes, and drive design and engineering for polished launches.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end customer experience across LiveX's hardware and software, from a passerby noticing a device to the customer leaving with their question answered. Set quality standards, find gaps between what ships and what should ship, prioritize fixes, and drive design and engineering to polished launches. The product is already live with customers; the job is to improve it and make each launch succeed. Works directly with the CEO (who owns product) and the founders leading AI and engineering.
Own the end-to-end experience across hardware (screen, camera, microphones, speakers, mounting, installation) and software (character, conversation, touch/voice interface, 3D content, enterprise AI agent, admin portal) as one product.
Set experience quality standards for each journey step (approach, greeting, conversation, product display, handoff, error recovery) with measurable targets: response latency, recognition accuracy, conversation completion, uptime, time to install.
Identify gaps by visiting live deployments, running walk-up tests, reviewing conversation logs and customer feedback, auditing new builds; maintain a ranked list of what is broken, rough, or missing.
Prioritize fixes: build a sequenced roadmap and decide between fixes, polish, and new features, backed by field evidence.
Drive design and engineering to delivery: write specs and acceptance criteria, run the product review cadence, remove blockers, hold the team to a high bar.
Drive launch readiness for every release and customer go-live: readiness checklists, go/no-go decisions, on-site or remote acceptance, day-one monitoring, fast post-launch fixes. No release reaches a customer floor without your sign-off.
Close the loop with customers: work with sales, deployment, and customer success to turn field issues into product fixes and fixes into customer updates.
Represent the user across all five layers of the stack.

Required
4–8 years of product management experience, including several years on hardware-plus-software products (devices, kiosks, robotics, consumer electronics, in-venue technology).
Early-stage startup experience (seed to Series B, under ~50 people), owning a product end to end without a product team behind you.
Track record of taking products from working to polished, where quality rather than scope was the deliverable.
Product judgment for walk-up physical experiences using touch, voice, and large screens in public spaces.
Experience with AI or conversational products and a clear method for measuring quality in probabilistic systems.
Writes clear specs, acceptance criteria, and readiness checklists; works from logs, metrics, and dashboards.
Field orientation: has personally run site acceptance in stores, lobbies, or stadiums.
Credibility with engineers and designers: technical enough to debate tradeoffs, design-literate enough to judge finished work.
Required: hands-on use of AI tools in your own work (analysis, prototyping, writing).
Required: proactive — spots gaps before others report them, proposes fixes, drives them forward unasked.
Ownership and a clear point of view on what the product should be.
Able to work on-site in Palo Alto; lives in or will relocate to the SF Bay Area.
Preferred
Strongly preferred: launch or quality ownership for a hardware-plus-software product deployed at scale in retail, hospitality, healthcare, or venues, especially across many sites.
Digital human, avatar, voice assistant, or conversational AI products.
Hardware programs: build validation, manufacturing partners, installation, field service.
End-to-end product ownership in a startup or small team.
