Integrate Business Development role at Integrate focused on driving new government business across defense and intelligence sectors. Responsible for shaping opportunities, leading capture efforts, and building relationships to secure contracts.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone in DC to own business development across the defense and intelligence sectors: someone hungry, sharp, and fluent in the language of government acquisition. You’ll shape opportunities before they become solicitations, turn bureaucratic jargon into concrete next steps, and build the relationships and strategies that get us on contract. You’ll bring the savvy of government or prime experience plus the drive and agility of a startup operator. If you’ve cut your teeth at a program office, a prime, or a defense tech startup, and you’re itching to build and win on a high-growth team, this role is for you.
Drive new government business end to end, from influencing requirements and capturing opportunities to navigating contract vehicles and closing.
Lead capture for high-consequence defense and intelligence opportunities, with immediate responsibility from shaping to submission.
Build and qualify the pipeline, track opportunities, and get us in the conversation early with program offices, PAEs, and other mission stakeholders.
Translate government needs into winning strategies by identifying requirements, influencers, competitors, and contracting pathways.
Work directly with Integrate leadership to set business development priorities, define growth strategies, and build pricing models.
Own proposal development from shaping RFIs, to shredding RFPs, all the way to submission and negotiation.
Keep a constant pulse on federal budgets, acquisition cycles, and contracting trends.
Support business development operations, including outreach to federal stakeholders such as senior leaders, action officers, contracting officers, and other staff.
We don't expect you to be an expert in all of these things — but here's the kind of background that sets you up to succeed:
Minimum 3-7 years of experience in capture, BD, or adjacent roles (e.g., at a government program office, prime contractor, consultancy, or startup).
Superlative understanding of defense contracting pathways; service-specific program office experience a major plus.
