Roshalimaging X-Ray Technologist responsible for conducting portable and general X-ray examinations primarily in an ER environment. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform X-ray examinations in accordance with accepted protocols.
Manage patients during complex procedures and exams.
Operate portable X-ray machines and other X-ray equipment.
Troubleshoot minor X-ray equipment problems.
Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls received.
For on-call assignments, contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
Document work processes, as required.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualification

Current ARRT registration – RT (R)Valid Driver’s LicenseBLS/CPR Certification

Required

Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation
Current ARRT registration – RT (R), and state licensure where required
Valid Driver’s License
BLS/CPR Certification
Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Comfort level with portable and general X-ray examinations
