Roshalimaging Ultrasound Technologist role in Orlando, FL providing diagnostic imaging services primarily in an ER environment. Responsible for conducting a wide range of scans including general abdominal, OB, and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols.
Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls received.
Contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe
Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
Document work processes, as required.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualification

Valid Driver’s LicenseBLS/CPR CertificationComfort level with general abdominal

Required

Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
Valid Driver’s License
BLS/CPR Certification
Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures
Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
Ability to act calmly and effectively in busy, stressful or emergency situations
Ability to communicate effectively in English in person, by phone and in writing
Adherence to all policies and procedures including safety, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
