Roshalimaging Lead Ultrasound Technologist at Roshalimaging responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures primarily in an ER environment. Requires leadership experience and current RDMS certification.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, including general, OB and vascular studies primarily in an ER environment
Possess effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills
Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modality.
Conduct and document High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures with precision
Ability to operate ultrasound equipment.
Ability to maintain quality control standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.
Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff at client facilities, management and peers.
Maintain the mental acuity, situational awareness, and decision-making ability necessary to safely and effectively perform all essential duties of the Ultrasound Sonographer position, including patient assessment, image acquisition, prioritization, and communication with the care team.
Demonstrate the physical capability to safely lift and move 30 pounds independently and to assist with patient positioning, transfer, and mobility activities as required to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations safely and effectively. (see physical requirements)
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with people in difficult, stressful situations.

Qualification

Current RDMS certificationCurrent BLS/CPR certification

Required

Minimum 5 years of ultrasound imaging experience with prior Team Leadership experience
Current RDMS certification
Credentialing documentation as required by Roshal, clients, and state regulations
Up-to-date vaccinations and successful completion of required health screenings including drug and background checks
Current BLS/CPR certification
Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment
