CesiumAstro Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for mechanical designs of Cesium products through all development phases. Focus on electronics packaging design, mechanical simulations, CAD, spacecraft mechanical interfaces, and environmental qualification of electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for mechanical designs from initial concept design through requirements definition, detailed design, simulation, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support
Develop, validate, and optimize mechanical designs using thermal management, precision machining, thermal simulation, shock and vibration analysis, EMI/EMC mitigation, GD&T, FEA, and cost analysis
Present engineering design review materials to customers and leadership team

Required

U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
