Anthromededucation The School Social Worker at AnthroMed Education provides direct and indirect social work services to elementary and middle school students, including therapy, IEP evaluations, and advocacy. The role supports students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
Push in to classrooms to provide play-based therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
Lead and support the implementation of BIPS and FBAs.
Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
Support students and families in accessing community resources.

Qualification

Required

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
