Anthromededucation The School Social Worker provides mental health services to high school students with special education needs and collaborates with school teams to support student success. This full-time role is based in Thornton, CO for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities

Provide Mental Health Services to students as outlined in their IEPs
Support students with mild-to-moderate needs, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs
Collaborate with special education teams, school staff, families, and other professionals to support student success

Qualification

Master’s degree in Social WorkPrevious special education experience

Required

Master’s degree in Social Work
Eligible for or holding a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider License with a School Social Worker endorsement
Strong collaboration skills and interest in school-based practice
Previous special education experience preferred
