Alfredbeneschco Railroad Civil/Track Designer I at Alfredbeneschco collaborates with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to deliver track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for rail projects. The role involves working on freight and commuter railroad projects and requires knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation InRoads/Open Roads.

Responsibilities

You will gain experience interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders.
You will design, draft elements and will integrate data and perform fundamental analysis of project elements.
You will work on challenging design projects working closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to meet project deadlines within budget.
You have a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and up to four years of experience in a similar capacity.
Successful completion of the EIT / FE exam or ability to complete the exam within six months of employment.
You have working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Working knowledge of MicroStation Inroads/OpenRoads Designer is a major plus.
You have a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
