Faire Product Manager responsible for setting strategy and roadmap for Faire’s incentives programs including seasonal sales, spend challenges, and Insider membership. Focus on driving efficiency, value, and cost management of incentives.
Responsibilities
Faire offers retailers and brands a range of benefits and incentives, including our Insider membership program, seasonal sales, and spend challenges, that drive preference for Faire. These programs work: they shift customer behavior, deepen relationships between retailers and brands, and help small businesses lower their operating costs. For independent retailers, the savings from Insider and promotions can be the difference maker, and in this role you’ll be directly responsible for helping more of them save on their costs.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to set the strategy for our incentives programs and identify the highest-impact opportunities to drive efficiency and value from them. You’ll be both strategic and deeply attuned to how customers respond to incentives, and fluent enough in business mechanics to manage cost efficiencies in the programs you own. If you’ve worked on a membership or loyalty program at a marketplace or consumer platform, this is a chance to apply that experience to a business where small, independent retailers are the customer. You’ll work on some of the biggest bets and business-critical drivers at Faire, with high executive visibility and the chance to ship, test, and learn quickly.
Own strategy and roadmap for Faire’s incentives. Set the long term direction for how seasonal sales, spend challenges, Insider, and future benefits evolve, and build the prioritized, financially grounded roadmap
Bring Faire’s benefits together into one experience. Orchestrate today’s programs so retailers and brands experience them as a single, seamless system, and determine the next chapter for Insider, including whether and how to expand it.
Own the return on every incentive dollar. Think in unit economics, cost per outcome, and payback periods. Invest where incentives drive the most value, and manage the P&L trade-offs across programs.
Build the targeting platform. Develop the targeting capabilities that put the right incentive in front of the right customer at the right time, and design simple, delightful experiences that help retailers discover deals and get the most from their benefits.
Partner deeply across Finance, Legal, Data Science, Design, and Engineering. Earn trust across functions, lead without authority, and keep complex, multi-stakeholder work moving without losing momentum.
Communicate clearly at every altitude. Translate complex topics (unit economics, incrementality, P&L trade-offs) for a wide range of audiences, from engineering partners to senior leadership, and drive sprint-level execution with clear requirements.

Required
7+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional products end to end.
You've built and shipped products designed around incentives, benefits, loyalty programs.
Business equation fluency. You think comfortably in unit economics. You can model whether a new product makes sense given Faire's cost of capital and identify structural advantages worth betting on.
Strategic clarity with hands-on execution. You can zoom out and develop a defensible multi-year point of view, then zoom back in to write crisp PRDs, drive sprint-level execution, and unblock your team.
Customer and business model empathy. You deeply understand how retailers and brands run their businesses. You design around customer needs, not just what's technically feasible.
Cross-functional influence across Finance, Risk, Legal, Data Science, and Engineering, and a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders while maintaining momentum.
Structured problem solving. You break ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, don't mistake activity for progress, and diagnose root causes rather than escalate.
High learning velocity. Building value for users through incentives requires deep understanding of the market between retailers and brands.
Proven ability to influence at the executive level and to communicate complex topics with clarity and conviction across audiences.
B2B marketplace experience is a strong plus — particularly familiarity with two-sided dynamics and competing customer objectives.
