Process biweekly and off-cycle payrolls from start to finish, including time and attendance data, earnings, deductions, and adjustments

Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies

Reconcile payroll reports and accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Coordinate payroll changes with HR, Finance, and Benefits, including new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, and benefits deductions

Resolve employee payroll inquiries and support internal and external payroll audits

Prepare and distribute year-end tax documents, including W-2s, and maintain payroll records in line with internal policies and legal standards

Lead process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives, including system upgrades, to reduce errors and manual work

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing

Working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and tax compliance, including changes to payroll laws

Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Workday, Workday preferred
