Nationallifeinsurancecompany The AVP, Head of Life Insurance Pricing leads strategy, governance, and execution of pricing for National Life Group’s Life Insurance portfolio. This role provides actuarial leadership and partners with senior stakeholders to drive pricing strategy and business decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of pricing strategy for Individual Life insurance portfolio
Establish pricing and risk assessment approaches balancing growth, profitability, risk, capital efficiency, and competitive positioning
Provide actuarial leadership for pricing, development, and ongoing performance review
Oversee development, evaluation, and management of Life pricing assumptions and modeling efforts

Qualification

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
12–15+ years of actuarial experience within the life insurance industry.
Significant experience in life insurance pricing or product development.
Deep knowledge and experience with Individual Life Insurance products, especially Indexed UL, Term and Whole Life.
Strong familiarity with applicable U.S. Stat, GAAP, and Tax regulations and standards.
Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating actuarial pricing models, assumptions, profitability analyses, and financial projections.
Experience partnering across product management, underwriting, finance, distribution, risk management, and other functions.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing actuarial teams.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex actuarial and pricing matters and influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred

Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Proficiency with MG-ALFA
