Roshalimaging CT Technologist role in Carlisle, PA offering full-time and PRN positions. Responsible for operating CT and X-ray equipment and maintaining quality control standards.

Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations and procedures, including those that require the use of contrast agents, in accordance with accepted protocols.
Manage patients during complex procedures and exams.
Operate portable X-ray machines and other X-ray equipment.
Troubleshoot minor X-ray and CT equipment problems.
Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls received.
For on-call assignments, contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
Document work processes, as required.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualification

Current ARRT registration – RT (R)(CT)Valid Driver’s LicenseBLS/CPR Certification

Required

Minimum 1 year of experience post-graduation
Current ARRT registration – RT (R)(CT), and state licensure where required
Valid Driver’s License
BLS/CPR Certification
Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
Comfort level with CT examinations and procedures requiring contrast agents, as well as portable and general X-ray
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area of imaging
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing
