CesiumAstro Senior Embedded Software Engineer responsible for low-level and high-level software development for CesiumAstro’s products, including Linux-based single-board computers and microcontroller systems. Accountable for software design from concept through production, including roadmaps, design, coding, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support.

Responsibilities

Develop low-level and high-level software for CesiumAstro’s products
Create software designs from concept through production including product roadmaps, block diagrams, detailed design and coding
Perform analysis, test, qualification, and in-orbit support
Present engineering design review materials to customers and executive team
Participate in proposal-writing efforts

Qualification

Experience with microcontrollers

Required

Development experience at nearly every level of the software stack
Experience with microcontrollers, low-level drivers, board support packages (BSP), end-use applications, and user interfaces
Experience in software testing and high-reliability qualification
Experience in software engineering and software project management practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
