Evervault Business Development Representative at Evervault to engage technical executives with strategic outreach and generate qualified sales opportunities. Focus on payments infrastructure pain points.
Responsibilities
Traditional BDR tactics are broken. We need someone who can engage CTOs, CPOs, VPs of Product and Engineering, and founders at 100–5,000 person companies at their moments of real need, through strategic timing and thoughtful outreach rather than generic cold emails. You'll report to our VP of Revenue and hand qualified opportunities to our Account Executives. Success looks like 16 qualified opportunities per quarter.
Tracking the signals that create a need for card infrastructure: adding a second PSP, expanding into new geographies, launching card issuing or embedded payments, or facing a PCI DSS audit
Mapping a target account's payment stack (processors, vault, checkout, 3DS provider) to pinpoint where they're feeling pain
Running outreach by call, email, LinkedIn and warm intros, tied to outcomes buyers care about: less PCI burden, routing freely across processors, higher auth rates, lower fraud
Running consistent cold-call blocks into target accounts
Turning fintech and founder/CTO events and communities into pipeline
Working with VCs, PSPs and partners to source warm introductions
Qualifying opportunities and handing them to AEs with clear context on the prospect's stack, pain and why now

This Might Not Be for You If...
You prefer high-volume sequences: we want fewer, better-researched conversations
You'd rather avoid the phone: cold calling technical buyers is a core part of the job
You don't want to learn the technical side: you'll need to hold credible first conversations about card payments with CTOs
