Disco Senior Product Manager at Disco owns major areas of the unified litigation platform product from pilot to general availability. Collaborates with litigators and cross-functional teams to prioritize and build AI-native litigation solutions.
Responsibilities
DISCO is moving beyond ediscovery. Our new unified litigation solution combines a deep understanding of the facts of a matter with the relevant U.S. case law in a single AI-native application, and it is in pilot today with leading law firms on live cases. From there, we are building a full suite of litigation capabilities that span the life of a matter, from filing to verdict.
This is a broad role with real ownership. The product is young, the roadmap is wide, and the person in this seat will shape a meaningful part of it, with direct visibility to product leadership and to the litigators who use it.
Own major areas of the product. Take one or more areas of the roadmap from discovery through launch and iteration, with clear success metrics tied to customer and business outcomes.
Turn litigation workflows into product priorities. Work directly with litigators and case teams to understand how they prepare motions, depositions, hearings, and trial, and translate what you learn into clear, prioritized requirements.
Make the product indispensable. Drive the capabilities that make it part of daily case work: integrations with the systems firms already use, collaboration across case teams, speed, and auditability.
Extend what the platform can do. Help shape how the platform supports drafting, case strategy, and trial preparation as we build toward a complete litigation solution.
Partner across the company. Work with Engineering, AI, Design, Commercial Strategy, and Go-to-Market teams to plan, build, and launch. Guide and influence engineering teams to build products that delight litigators.
Decide with evidence. Use customer feedback, usage data, and quality metrics to make and explain prioritization tradeoffs.
Keep leadership close to the truth. Communicate progress, tradeoffs, risks, and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders, including when the news is inconvenient.

Required
An experienced product builder. 5+ years of professional experience, including direct experience defining and shipping software products.
A proven operator. You have run complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea through execution, and you measure yourself on outcomes rather than activity.
Technically fluent. You understand how AI-powered products are built, evaluated, and operated, including retrieval, LLM evaluation, and data pipelines, well enough to make sound tradeoffs with Engineering and AI teams.
A fast learner of complex work. You pick up complex professional workflows quickly and turn them into clear product requirements.
Comfortable at both altitudes. You can hold a strategy conversation with executives, then work through the operational detail that makes the strategy real.
A clear communicator. You make yourself understood by customer, product, and technical audiences, and you adjust register without losing precision.
Sound in judgment. You are at ease in commercially sensitive situations, and you know what discretion requires.
High ownership. You move quickly, you take the outcome personally, and ambiguity does not stall you.
Even Better If You Have
Hands-on experience building AI/ML or LLM-powered products, including evaluating and improving output quality, ideally in a regulated, high-stakes domain (strongly preferred).
Hands-on experience in product management or engineering for one or more of the following: AI evaluation and observability; retrieval and search over large, mixed document sets; structured extraction and domain modeling concepts; multi-step or agentic LLM workflows; enterprise integrations and data sync (e.g., document management systems); or products made of many interdependent services and data pipelines.
Experience at product-focused, technology-driven companies, ideally B2B SaaS.
