Responsibilities

Design mechanical components from concept through testing and qualification
Perform mechanical simulations and analyses
Develop electronics packaging designs
Conduct thermal management and shock/vibration analyses
Apply EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
Perform environmental compatibility analysis
Use GD&T and finite element analysis to optimize designs
Present engineering design reviews to customers and leadership
Participate in proposal-writing efforts

Qualification

Required

Proficiency in electronics packaging design
Experience with mechanical simulations and analyses
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical interfaces
Experience with environmental qualification of electronic assemblies (MIL-STD-810 and DO-160G)
Experience with thermal management design and precision machining
Experience with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
Experience with GD&T and finite element analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
