Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant experience, ideally designing tests for electromechanical hardware in a manufacturing environment
Hardware testing and automated test systems
Programming in Python, MATLAB, shell or similar
Communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, PCIe, HDMI and CAN
Bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs and programmable power supplies
Manufacturing test limits and the common failure modes that manufacturing introduces
Complex electromechanical systems, and what it takes to make them work reliably
Full system test plans you wrote and ran on fast product development timelines
Programming and testing a wide range of sensors, actuators and electrical components
Prototyping and running your own tests, from the setup through the hardware and software, that you can walk us through in detail
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred

Subsea robotics or AUV/UUV experience, including in-water testing
PLM, MES, Jama and test execution systems
Testing and working around high-voltage systems up to 400 V
Projects that integrate electrical, mechanical and software or firmware systems
Owning projects with loose scope under technical and schedule pressure
$132,000—$175,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
