Axon The Automation Technician III at Axon is responsible for repairing equipment, supporting manufacturing lines, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting engineering and QA teams. This onsite role involves hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of automation components.

Responsibilities

As Axon's Automation Technician L2, you will be responsible for repairing equipment, supporting manufacturing lines, performing preventive maintenance, quality testing, data gathering, filling out non-conformance reports, and supporting the engineering team and QA department as needed.

Reports to: Automation Technician Supervisor
Direct Reports: None
Assemble, install, repair, and maintain automation components and systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems.
Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams, regarding failure modes and frequency
Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals.
Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures.
Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data.
Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to repair and test products.
Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties.
