Subtotal Software Engineering Intern at Subtotal working on integrations with major retailers and internal automation systems. Responsible for building autonomous systems and owning projects end to end.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on engineering role on a small team that ships often. You'll build real product alongside our engineers and founders. That includes integrations with major retailers and other software providers, internal systems that automate everyday work, and apps shoppers and brands use directly. Your priorities and the tools you use will change frequently, and we want someone who's energized by that.
Build autonomous systems: Design and ship systems that handle routine work on their own, like keeping shoppers' retail connections healthy.
Bring in new technology: Keep a pulse on new tools, models, and techniques as they come out, and figure out where they give us an edge.
Own projects end to end: Take a problem from rough idea to production, then keep improving it based on what you learn.
