EMIS Specialist

Required

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Residency: Must be a current resident of the State of Ohio.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of prior EMIS data reporting experience required.
• Specialized Knowledge: Direct experience with CTE Reporting (including specific coding and state requirements), proficiency with ODDEX, and a comprehensive understanding of general EMIS compliance (student, staff, course, calendar, testing, and financial data).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data entry and MS Office (specifically Excel and Word). Demonstrated competency with education software and tools (e.g., PowerSchool, Salesforce, USPS, Data Collector, Cross Check, Smartsheet, and SharePoint). Experience using help desk ticketing systems is preferred.
• Professional Skills: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team; strong prioritization skills to execute tasks under pressure and meet rigid state deadlines.
• Communication: High-quality written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to manage and protect confidential student and employee information.
• Background Screening: Successful completion of state and federal criminal background checks.
