Pdt Partners The Finance Associate at PDT Partners supports finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and reporting operations while identifying opportunities to improve workflows using data and AI tools. This role involves cross-training and collaboration with operational and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Develop broad expertise by rotating across treasury, finance, fund reporting, and tax compliance
Support day-to-day FACT operations, e.g. cash management, margin analysis, tax estimates, compliance reporting, and counterparty management
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement solutions by collaborating with internal operations development teams and leveraging data systems and AI tools
Liaise with external service providers, such as prime brokers and accounting firms
Lead or contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analyses both within the FACT team and across the firm

2-4 years of professional experience in Finance, Treasury, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting and Tax, or related fields
Basic programming skills or experience with AI-assisted tools to automate and streamline workflows
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Intellectual curiosity: eager to learn about our business and understand the "why" behind processes
Diligence: a demonstrated ability to be meticulous and thorough in delivering high-quality work
Tenacity: enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and determined to get the job done

Qualification

Required

2-4 years of professional experience in Finance, Treasury, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting and Tax, or related fields
Basic programming skills or experience with AI-assisted tools to automate and streamline workflows
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
Diligence and meticulousness in delivering high-quality work
Tenacity and enthusiasm for new challenges
Self-motivation to deliver excellent work and identify improvements
