SpaceX Cook is an entry level line cook position focused on food preparation, setup, and station operation at SpaceX's food outlets. The role supports morale and productivity by providing quality food options.
Responsibilities
Prepare food items, ensuring consistency and compliance with the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines
Provide courteous and informative customer service in an "open kitchen" format, while ensuring that assigned station is stocked and clean
Follow restaurant guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times
Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
POSITION DETAILS:
This is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.
LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion is possible based on performance and business need)

Required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking

Current and valid SERV Safe or Food Handler's card or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to travel to various SpaceX locations for mission critical projects
Valid state issued driver's license
Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holiday(s) as needed
