Redwoodmaterials Senior Production Material Planner at Redwood Materials responsible for material planning of electronics and mechanical commodities supporting battery energy storage system production. Manage supply requirements, planning parameters, and supplier delivery to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead material planning for assigned electronics and mechanical commodities, translating production schedules and demand into MRP-driven supply requirements
Maintain planning parameters and master data (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, bills of material) to reflect supplier capability and meet inventory, service level, and cost targets
Perform daily supply and constraint management, including clear-to-build and run-out analysis, and resolve shortages and exceptions ahead of the build schedule
Serve as the primary interface with assigned suppliers on delivery status, schedule changes, and issue resolution, escalating to Global Supply Chain Management, Quality, or Engineering when required
Manage engineering changes and product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete inventory and maintain continuity of supply
Support new product introduction builds by confirming material readiness from prototype through production ramp

Qualification

DevelopBachelor's degree in Supply Chain5+ years of material planningWorking knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

Required

Develop, track, and report material KPIs (clear-to-build, days on hand, excess and obsolete inventory, supplier on-time delivery) to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain experience (3+ years with a Master's degree), ideally in high-volume electronics, automotive, or battery manufacturing
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, bills of material, and discrete manufacturing planning processes
Working knowledge of electronics and mechanical components such as PCBAs, harnesses, busbars, and machined parts
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for clear-to-build, run-out, and inventory analysis
Ability to manage supplier relationships and secure delivery commitments from domestic and international suppliers
