Anthropic Partner Specializations Lead at Anthropic owns the end-to-end program for partner specializations, including requirements, evidence review, and benefits. The role scales the program to thousands of partners and manages evaluation cycles.
Responsibilities
The Claude Partner Network is how consulting firms, systems integrators, and other services partners build practices around Claude. When a company chooses a partner, it wants to know which firms have done this work well, in its industry and for its use case. Specializations are how the program will give it: credentials showing that a partner has demonstrated expertise in a given domain area.
As Partner Specializations Lead, you'll own this program end to end: the requirements a firm has to meet, the evidence review that decides who qualifies, the benefits that make a specialization worth earning, and the operating rhythm that keeps it credible year after year. Your job is to take an early framework into a structure that scales: opening it to thousands of partners, running evaluation cycles, and launching new specializations with cross-functional input.
This role suits someone who likes owning a standard. You'll work with partner managers, operations, enablement, marketing, and industry teams who each hold a piece of the program, and with senior leaders at partner firms who care a great deal about the outcome. A specialization only means something if it's earned, so you'll need to be rigorous with evidence, consistent in your decisions, and firm and clear when the answer is no.
Own each specialization's requirements, evidence standards, and benefits, and keep them current as our products and the partner network change
Run each evaluation cycle from invitation to decision: collect partner evidence, reconcile it against internal data, lead the review, and document every decision
Make and defend qualification decisions, including borderline cases, and apply the standard consistently across firms of very different sizes
Communicate outcomes to partner executives and their Anthropic account teams, including clear guidance for firms that did not qualify
Open the program to the wider partner network, and recommend which specializations come next based on customer demand, partner readiness, and Anthropic's priorities
Define the evidence standard for new specializations with Applied AI, Product, and industry go-to-market teams
Coordinate the teams that deliver the program's benefits (marketing, the partner directory, field enablement, technical support) so that earning a specialization leads to something real
Work with Partner Enablement so that partner learning paths and certifications support each specialization
Build the operating rhythm: renewal, remediation periods, an appeals path, and the tracking and reporting that show whether the program is working
Qualification
Experience working with CRM or PRM dataStrong writing
Required
Experience owning an external-facing program with published requirements (a partner, channel, certification, accreditation, or similar program), including running at least one full evaluation, qualification, or renewal cycle
Experience making qualification or eligibility decisions against a written standard and communicating those decisions, including declines, to senior external stakeholders
Experience working with CRM or PRM data, such as Salesforce reports or a partner portal, as a regular part of your job
Strong writing: able to produce clear program requirements, decision memos, and partner-facing guidance that need little editing
Experience leading work to a fixed date across several teams you do not manage, such as operations, marketing, enablement, and field teams
Work effectively where the process is still being built and the details are still changing
Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial
Preferred
Experience designing or running a partner competency, specialization, or credential program at a technology company
Experience with services partners (systems integrators, consultancies) from either side: managing them at a vendor, or building a practice around a vendor's technology at a firm, and an understanding of how those firms decide where to invest their people
SQL or BI-tool skills sufficient to pull and check your own program data
Experience taking a program from its first launch to a repeatable operating cycle
Experience launching a program publicly with marketing and communications partners
Enough technical depth to judge whether a partner's evidence of a software or AI deployment holds up
Experience working with customers in regulated or specialized industries, such as financial services, healthcare, or the public sector
Experience designing partner benefits or incentives, and an understanding of how they change partner behavior
