CesiumAstro The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer leads a team responsible for mechanical design and development of spacecraft and subsystems at CesiumAstro. This role covers all phases from concept through space flight, including requirements, design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and in-orbit support.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers for mechanical aspects of spacecraft and subsystems
Manage mechanical design from concept through space flight
Define requirements, perform architecture trades and block diagrams
Conduct analysis, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and qualification
Provide in-orbit support
Collaborate with GNC, EPS, CDH, Payload, RF, Systems, and AI&T teams
Present engineering design review materials to customers and executives
Participate in proposal-writing efforts
