Standtogether The Government Affairs Intern supports the Georgia Public Policy Foundation’s government affairs and policy efforts by drafting policy materials, tracking legislation, coordinating meetings, and attending legislative hearings. This role provides experience in state-level policy advocacy.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Government Affairs in executing government affairs strategy
Draft one-pagers and other policy materials
Track legislation, committee activity, and votes on priority issues
Maintain legislative tracking files
Coordinate meetings and events with legislators, coalition partners, and stakeholders
Attend legislative hearings, committee meetings, and events
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
