Assort Health Senior People Partner to advise GTM and operations leaders on team organization, performance management, and retention during rapid scaling. Build the People Partner function ahead of growth from 300 to over 1,000 employees.
Responsibilities
We are hiring a Senior People Partner to be the trusted advisor to our GTM and operations leaders on everything involving people: how teams are organized, how performance is managed, how issues are resolved, and how we keep our best people as we scale. This is a builder's seat. Assort is growing from roughly 300 to over 1,000 people in the coming years, and you will build the function ahead of the curve and help set the standard for how People Partners work here. You will report to the SVP of People.
Work with GTM and operations leaders on team structures, headcount planning against growth targets, role definitions, reorgs, territory changes, and leadership transitions, bringing a clear point of view on what the organization needs at the next stage.
Own the content and judgment behind calibrations, 9-box reviews, promotion decisions, and compensation recommendations, including for roles measured on quota, customer outcomes, and delivery.
Partner with leaders and Finance on sales and incentive compensation plans, ramp expectations, and how performance is measured for customer-facing roles.
Use AI to prepare for leader conversations, analyze org health data, draft documentation, and remove manual work, and set the standard for how the People team uses these tools.
Handle investigations, complaints, and sensitive situations with fairness and discretion, partnering with Legal when the stakes call for it, and spot patterns early to fix root causes.
Advise managers on feedback, difficult conversations, team dynamics, and performance concerns in fast-moving, customer-facing environments, and feed learnings back to People Operations.
Track sentiment, attrition, and burnout signals across teams carrying customer and revenue pressure, run stay conversations with high performers, and bring leadership data-backed recommendations.
5+ years in People Partner or HRBP roles supporting GTM, customer success, or operations teams, including advising CROs and senior functional leaders and leading or mentoring other partners.
Experience in the seat while a company scaled, ideally from roughly 250 to 1,000+ employees, with clear examples of what broke and what you did about it.
Executive presence: you give senior leaders direct, well-reasoned advice, including when they don't want to hear it, and keep their trust.
A track record running calibrations and promotion processes for quota-carrying and customer-facing roles and making hard calls with incomplete information.
