trace3 Staff Accountant I at Trace3 supporting accounting team with financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll accounting. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cash reconciliations and related journal entries
Coordinate with AR/AP to clear reconciling items timely
Handle payroll accounting including earnings, bonus, and benefits-related activity
Perform ASC 842 lease accounting including journal entries, lease schedules, and financial statement footnote support
Perform CECL accounting under ASC 326 including reserve calculation
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree (BTechnical knowledge of UStrong Excel proficiencyAbility to research variancesPHYSICAL DEMANDSEstimated Pay Range
Required
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting
A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in public or private accounting.
Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
Strong Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to prepare clear, supportable analyses.
NetSuite and Power BI experience preferred.
Ability to research variances, identify root causes, and present recommended solutions.
Process improvement mindset and ability to contribute ideas that improve efficiency and accuracy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the standard duties of this job, the employee can expect light physical exertion with long periods of sitting, occasional standing and walking; limited bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 15 pounds.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
