Fine-tune and optimize new equipment with a focus on safety and process capability

Conduct engineering trials and data collection with careful attention to detail and effective documentation

Document and improve the process steps required to deliver high-quality prototypes of product-scale cathodes to be used in Form Energy’s batteries by authoring SOPs using Microsoft Word or equivalent software.

Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and new processes from the Process Development Team to the Manufacturing Engineering Team through in-depth training and on-the-floor operations support

Troubleshoot mechanical problems that occur during the commissioning of new prototype equipment

Problem-solve and troubleshoot novel mechanical challenges on first-of-its-kind pilot equipment and manufacturing processes

Build and test prototype manufacturing equipment

Be a champion for safety in the development of new equipment and manufacturing processes

What you'll bring:

5+ years of experience as a technician or in a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demonstrated manufacturing process knowledge

Experience executing manufacturing or engineering trials with diligent attention to detail and a high standard for quality

Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and desire to roll up your sleeves and fill the gaps where necessary
