Asm Engineer II, Field Software at ASM contributes to the design and development of semiconductor gas delivery modules and related components. The role involves cross-functional collaboration and managing project timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Contribute to design and development of semiconductor common modules, in particular common gas delivery design, related supply chain design (DFm), and data analytics.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in safety, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to align on goals and deliverables.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for modules such as gas delivery, test requirements definition, equipment and automation systems, driving root cause analysis and resolution.
Apply innovation and expertise in the area of Chemistry related to gas delivery mudules for ASM advanced deposition systems.
Communicate effectively with internal peers’ stakeholders as well as external manufacturing partners on execution of the developed technology.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Prepare comprehensive design documentation for manufacturing and testing of prototypes and production products primarily gas delivery modules.
Act as a module and system-level technical expert, supporting complex semiconductor equipment in both development labs and customer fabs
Diagnose and resolve advanced system, hardware, and process issues, including escalations beyond standard support
Drive root cause analysis (RCCA) and implement sustainable solutions across tools, sites, and product lines
Support new product introduction (NPI), including early builds, lab validation, and ramp to high-volume manufacturing
