Business Development Representative

Required

• 1-3+ years in a BDR/SDR role, with a proven track record of generating qualified pipeline from cold outreach
• Comfort learning and speaking to technical concepts: APIs, model accuracy and latency tradeoffs, and competitive differentiation
• Genuine creativity and persistence in outbound — you find a way in when the obvious channels don't work
• Self-direction: you thrive with ownership and little process, and you set your own high bar
• Strong CRM and prospecting-tool fluency (Salesforce, and tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
• Experience selling technical products — API, infrastructure, developer tools, or AI/ML — to technical buyers is a plus
• While AssemblyAI is a remote-first company, this role is expected to be based in New York, full-time in the office and meeting with prospective customers in person.

However, we are open to considering candidates who may fall above or below the outlined experience level—in those cases, we will communicate any adjustments to the expected salary range.
• $100,000–$140,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings)
