Addepar Product Manager on the Reference Data team responsible for building scalable data-driven products and platforms for market data and security master. Focuses on data integration, analytics, and commercial growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Reference Data team, based in NYC.
Reference Data is part of the Shared Capabilities team at Addepar. Our mission is to build a scalable, efficient, and high quality data platform that integrates, connects, productionises, and distributes third-party data content across Addepar and to our clients and partners.
Our team is organized across the entire third party reference data and security data lifecycle, including Market Data feeds and our Addepar Security Master (ASM). You will be working on building products that focus on turning raw data into the clear, well-structured insights that help our team make better decisions, move faster, and deliver more confidently across feeds, security mastering, vendor growth, and commercial reporting.
This role requires deep data skills, rigorous thinking, and the ability to approach tasks with a builder mindset.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.
Build data-driven products for market data and our security master helping drive market data adoption, commercial growth by defining a clear strategy, profiling incoming vendor data and customer usage, validating use cases, and identifying growth opportunities.
Work on projects that provide an analytical foundation for the team, conducting data investigations, ad hoc queries, and structured analyses that inform prioritisation, requirements, and product decisions.
Build and maintain products including data pipelines, reporting, and self-serve dashboards that give the team and leadership visibility into dataset profitability, vendor licensing costs versus revenue, pipeline health, feed coverage, and commercial activity.
Develop and improve repeatable tooling and workflows for vendor usage reporting, licensing reconciliation, and entitlement tracking, helping streamline Reference Data operations and support commercial outcomes.
Productise monitoring for market data pipelines and operational dashboards, triaging feed errors and flagging issues to Operations and/or R&D with enough context to act.
Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate Reference Data product outcomes and analytical workflows.

2–4 years of experience as a product owner, data analyst, business analyst, or product analyst, ideally in financial services or a data-intensive SaaS environment where data quality and rigor matter.
