Sr. Materials & Process Engineer, Materials Characterization

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in materials characterization, preferably within the aerospace industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with analytical materials characterization and sample preparation techniques (OM, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XRD, DSC, TGA, DMA, rheometry).
• Strong knowledge of materials characterization methods, experimental design, data analysis, and relevant testing standards (ASTM, ISO, ASM, etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with ITAR eligibility requirements.
