Responsibilities

Operate a coal-fired 1700 MW plant on a 24/7 rotating shift basis
Ensure safe operation of generating units including boiler, turbine, condensers, coal pulverizers, ash removal systems, and auxiliary equipment
Complete the Power Plant Operator Entrance Knowledge Exam
Pass a pulmonary function/respirator fit test
Be available for callouts and emergencies by residing within a reasonable distance from the facility
