Responsibilities
- Train Operators of lower grades
- Perform work involved in starting and stopping gas and steam turbine generating units and steam generators
- Perform or direct safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of auxiliary equipment associated with boilers, turbines, generators, water treatment facilities, and power distribution
- Perform electrical switching operations
- Investigate trouble and perform emergency repair work on equipment and controls, both electrical and mechanical
- Perform routine operational tests and inspections
- Execute safe and effective LOTO (Work Clearance) on all types of mechanical and electrical equipment
