Settlements Analyst

Required

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail—the day-to-day responsibilities will require focus and dedication to problem solving. Ownership is the key. Issues must be resolved in a timely manner and seen through to completion.
• General understanding of the lifecycle of a trade from implementation through settlement with a demonstrated understanding of the various settlement cycles and the nuances of global markets.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with multiple internal and external counterparts to resolve operational issues (for example, direct communication with GMO Compliance, GMO Trading, and external brokers.)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize between multiple deadlines.
• Working knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., MS Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of Aladdin, TradeNexus, and Alert is a plus.
