Tenex Labs Senior Associate, Strategic Finance at Tenex Labs responsible for ownership across finance organization and building sales forecasts. Supports strategic initiatives and drives process improvements in accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to take meaningful ownership across the finance organization, reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Finance. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You will work on key strategic initiatives alongside the leadership team and support the team as we scale.

Required

2–4 years of relevant experience in a similarly analytical role.
Strong financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
Strong attention to detail, with the judgment to connect financial results to broader business priorities.
Demonstrated ownership and comfort managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred

Two years of experience in investment banking or consulting at a top tier investment bank or consulting firm.
At least one year of finance experience at a high-growth startup, ideally at the Series B or Series C stage.
Experience building sales forecasts, managing operating expense forecasts, or owning components of a company’s financial model.
Experience improving finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting processes.
Familiarity with SQL, business intelligence tools, or finance workflow automation.
