Alten Technology Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Alten Technology leads financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting for U.S. operations. The role partners with leadership to provide financial insights and improve forecast accuracy and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting
Lead the annual budget and forecasting processes for the U.S. operations.
Coordinate financial assumptions with business leaders and ensure consistency with operational plans.
Prepare regular financial forecasts, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBIT and other key financial indicators.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and proactively communicate them to management.
Develop scenario analyses and financial simulations to support strategic and operational decisions.
Continuously improve forecast accuracy and planning methodologies.
Financial Performance & Business Analysis
Monitor U.S. financial performance against budget, forecast and prior-year results.
Perform detailed variance analysis and identify key operational and financial drivers.
Analyze profitability by business unit, customer, activity and other relevant dimensions.
Provide actionable recommendations to management to improve profitability and financial performance.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in FinanceMBAPrevious experience in an FP&A ManagerStrong knowledge of budgetingExperience with ERPSkills & CompetenciesExcellent business and financial acumen

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent qualification is considered an asset.
Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, controlling or corporate finance.
Previous experience in an FP&A Manager, Finance Manager or similar role is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and management reporting.
Strong understanding of P&L management and business performance drivers.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
Experience with ERP, planning and reporting systems; experience with NetSuite and OneStream would be an advantage in your environment.
Experience working within a multi-entity, multi-business-unit or international organization is preferred.
